Long live the party! – Fra Noi

Each year, more than three dozen celebrations of Italian patron saints grace the Chicago area. Kept alive by the paesani of villages and towns all over Italy, these events preserve some of our most cherished traditions. The festivities range from simple religious services to solemn masses and from processions to family celebrations that last several days. But they all have one thing in common: devotion to the spiritual protectors of bell’Italia. At press time, information was available on the following events.
